I got him a new pair of Bose earphones for his iPod (his recently broke), a pair of sneakers he's been looking for everywhere, a food chopper since he loves to cook, and a button-up shirt.

However, I'm pretty sure he's gotten me a diamond necklace. He also went above and beyond on my birthday. This is way pricier than what I spent. I know the amount we spent shouldn't matter, but I'm worried about my gifts for him. It's our first Christmas together.

Should I get him something else? Like a gift certificate to get a professional shave (he had one once -- loved it) or a sweater? Or do you think what I have is enough?
He's not a sports guy -- more of a "metro' city man. He likes nice and thoughtful things. I'm stumped.
