more questions about magnetic?

1) Suppose you have 2 bars, one is a permanent magnetic, the other is not a magnet but is made from a ferromagnetic material like iron. The 2 bars look exactly alike. By using another magnet bar, how can u determine which one is permanent magnetic, which one is not...Can you determine the identities of the look-alike bar with the aid of a 3rd bar that is not a magnet, but is made from a ferromagnetic material? Give reasons!

2) In a TV commercial that advertises a soda pop, a strong magnetic pick up the delivery truck carrying cans of the soft drink. The pictures switch to the interior of the truck, where cans are seen to fly upward and stick to the roof just beneath the electromagnet. Are these cans made entirely of aluminum? Justify your answer.

1) when the bar1 is allowed to be brought closer to the third bar and we find attraction, the bar1 could be magnet or could not be magnet. Now reverse their orientation, if repulsion is seen then bar1 is magnet, if again attraction then bar1 is not a permanent magnet. Confirm by similar procedure that the other bar is a magnet.

On the other hand if first attempt shows repulsion, then bar1 is magnet confirm with similar experiment that the other bar is not a permanent magnet.

2)No cannot be true if they are attracted by magnetic pick up coil.
