How long does The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Virtual Console take to download?
I want to download The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Virtual Console for my Wii. However, I don't want to download it if it takes hours. If you know, how long will it take to download on a reasonably good internet speed? Also, if you know, how big are the downloads (eg. 1GB, 2GB, etc.)?
It definitely won't take hours. Maybe a half hour, MAX. If the Internet speed is good, I can't see your update taking more than 5-10 minutes.
Data on the Wii aren't measure in bytes, but in "blocks". The Wii has 2000 blocks of memory. If I'm not mistaken, Ocarina of Time takes up about 300 blocks.
I suppose since we know the Wii has 512MB capacity you could do the math and find out the MB per block, but not all the Wii's capacity is for data storage, so the calculations won't be exact.
