Would you in a budget crunch, dry clean your long 81% wool/11%nylon/9%polyester winter coat lined with 100%...?
...polyester, that has a genuine attached [not snap-off, not basted, sewn into the seam!]] genuine silver fox lapel -- in your own home dryer with a dry-cleaning sheet? I know it won't hurt the coat. I've been unable to find the answer to whether it would hurt the fur. I'm not the income level to turn it over to a professional furrier.
Take it to a "green cleaner" in your area and not a furrier! It should be fine. They will warn you about the fur but if they do not use "perc" like most regular cleaners, the other solvents will not hurt the fur. Make sure you use a quality place where the people know what they are talking about (and speak your language). Look up "green" cleaners that use a "hydrocarbon" or silicone solvent. Both of these will do fine for the price of a coat with fur trim and not the cost of "fur" cleaning!
