It's about a girl who's being sent to what I think is an old orphanage to live with her 2 aunts? and a butler? In the attic I believe are 2 porcelain dolls that come to life around her and interact with her, but they're always repeating the same day. They read the same newspaper that has an add for a wash basin and an article detailing there death in a fire, though they act ignorant of the fire. They're always saving a seat for someone and once the butler? dies the seat is filled. Eventually the girl is sent elsewhere to live in a home with I think a younger girl. If anyone could tell me what book this is I would be very grateful.
