I have used many digital probe thermometers and have found that many fail after a few uses, recommendation?
I use them in the oven, in the smoker, and in my mash tun during home brewing (wet). Sometimes on the grill but not that often, mainly during brewing (never above 200 degrees) and in the oven for large cuts of meat, and my smoker (250-300).
My favorite thermometer is the one from Pampered Chef. You may have to find a local sales person to order one for you as they are sold exclusively at home parties.
