where to find tool for poulon-pro 100 weedeater?
I have a poulon pro weedwacker usd about 3 hours last year, wouldnt stay running this year brought to a repair shop, they dont have the tool to adjust the 2 knobs inside the engine, one is for air other is for fuel. not the idle adjustment screw. Does anyone know where to get this tool from? the holes are maddeningly weird shaped i cant get any homemade tools into the slot to turn these round nut thingys.
Ive been to that site before, unfortunately the part number does not exist, and the home page doesnt exist that I could find for the poulon products. on the motor has www.poulon-pro.com is a landing page.
I had a similar problem with a chainsaw.
I used a Dremel tool to cut slots in the adjustment screws and then used a screwdriver to make the adjustments.
The actual tools are notoriously hard to find. Dealers and repair shops do not like to sell them, since it would cut into their business.
